KISS THE EARTH - An invitation to be part of the Ritual Team at Buddhafield Festival came at just the right time.  Two weeks of deep diving into self, other Buddhist teachings and the Earth; creating a ritual at the centre of the festival to encapsulate its theme of 'Kiss the Earth'. We walked in woods as a group to work out how to do this and collected treasure as we went. We gathered beautiful, broken branches and Crystal Zillwood led us in a dance with them. We gathered fir cones and ferns to adorn Keith Beaney's magical shrine. We gathered leaves from Oak, Beech, Birch, Holly, Alder, Sycamore, Yew, Willow, Maple, Rhododendron and Rowan, to craft into masks; to transform and transcend.
